Be Prepared

As we found out in this last blackout, we may not always be able to communicate with you directly during an emergency. If we have an emergency in the future, and we are unable to communicate, please do the following:

• If your student is at school and there is an interruption in electrical service, please make arrangements to pick up your student as soon as possible. Be assured, we will keep your student safe until you arrive.
• If there is a county-wide emergency, tune in to KOGO 600 AM or KFMB 760 AM for information. These are the designated emergency channels for San Diego County.
• If the San Diego County Superintendent has closed all schools in the county, we will be closed.
